Meet Kelly 

Hi all! I’m a writer based in Decatur, Georgia, with a love for nature, food, good books, and travel. I earned my bachelor's in journalism at the University of Georgia in the best college town in the world (go dawgs!). After a year waiting tables and hiking the Appalachian Trail, I settled into a career working in the magazine industry in Atlanta. These days, my day job is to help epidemiologists and public health experts communicate about the amazing things they are doing at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.

I’m also a children’s book author represented by the fabulous Stephanie Fretwell-Hill of Red Fox Literary. I’m the author of THE LITTLE BLUE COTTAGE and CHASE THE MOON, TINY TURTLE (both published by Page Street Kids).
